Topiary
The word topiary derives from the Latin word for an ornamental landscape gardener, topiarius, creator of topia or places.
While pruning is typically done to manage overgrowth, topiary is done for aesthetic reasons. Topiary is the horticultural practice of training live perennial plants, by clipping the foliage and twigs from trees and shrubs to form and maintain clearly defined shapes. It can be an art and is a form of living sculpture.
This specialized practice entails sharp tools, steady hands and a keen eye to only remove targeted and unwanted foliage from the plant. This is not a rush job or you will have an undesired look.
At Glasgow Lawn Care we have steady hands, an eye for detail and specialized tools for this kind of work and we keep them sharp in order to give you the look that you desire.
Our goal is 100% Customer Satisfaction.
